Aksys Games Announces Q Collection for Nintendo Switch, Physical Release Set for 2026

Aksys Games, a publisher known for delivering unique and engaging Japanese titles to the West, has officially announced the Q Collection for Nintendo Switch at Anime Expo.

This upcoming physical compilation is set to launch in 2026, bringing together three inventive puzzle games—Q Remastered, Q with Vtubers, and Q2 Humanity—which were previously only available digitally.

The announcement marks a significant moment for fans of puzzle games and collectors who prefer having physical editions in their library. The Q Collection builds on the popularity of the Q series, which initially made waves in digital storefronts across Japan and beyond.

Now, with a dedicated package for Nintendo Switch, players will have access to over 1,800 unique puzzles that demand creativity and critical thinking.

Whether solving challenges solo or competing with friends, the Q Collection offers an experience that caters to both individual playstyles and group entertainment. Q Remastered, the foundation of the bundle, is a puzzle game defined by its tactile gameplay.

Players are free to draw any lines and shapes they wish on the Nintendo Switch screen.

Once drawn, these objects respond to realistic physics, dropping into the puzzle environment and helping—or hindering—progress toward the solution.

This mechanic both encourages experimentation and provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment with each solved problem. Q with Vtubers expands the Q formula with a social twist.

Drawing on the creative talents of over 20 virtual YouTubers, this title introduces quirky and often unexpected puzzles designed to challenge even veteran players.

Featuring the unique personalities and fan followings of popular VTubers, this installment brings added variety and replayability to the collection. Rounding out the collection is Q2 Humanity, a sequel that evolves the gameplay even further.

Here, new character types—known as “humans”—enter the puzzle-solving fray.

These characters can jump, bounce, and throw objects, and some possess special abilities that shift the way players tackle problems.

Q2 Humanity accommodates both solo players and multiplayer groups, supporting up to four participants locally on Nintendo Switch.
