Announced at Tokyo Game Show 2026 via Edia’s show-floor catalogue and reported by outlets including Gematsu, the collection will release on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in both digital and physical formats.
Psikyo Memories collects 12 titles spanning several of Psikyo’s signature series and standalone arcade projects.
The confirmed line-up includes Dragon Blaze, Gunbarich, Gunbird, Gunbird 2, Gunbird (original), Gunbarich (if distinct in some regions), Samurai Aces, Tengai (Samurai Aces II), Samurai Aces III: Sengoku Cannon, Sol Divide, Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, Strikers 1999 and Zero Gunner 2.
(Edia’s official list as published with the announcement names these core Psikyo entries.)
Edia’s TGS catalogue emphasized that the compilation preserves the fast-paced arcade action of the originals and presents a curated selection of Psikyo’s most recognisable shoot ’em ups.
That description framed Psikyo Memories as a way for modern platforms to host the developer’s signature high-speed gameplay and character-driven presentations.
Platform and edition details are confirmed: Psikyo Memories will be available on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the Switch 2 edition distributed on a physical Game Card.
Edia is also preparing a special edition that pairs a physical copy of the game with a small art book, a set of themed dog tags, and a tabletop calendar.
At TGS, Gematsu noted that Strikers 1945 was playable on the show floor on PC hardware, though Edia has only officially listed PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 as launch platforms.
Several Psikyo titles experienced a temporary removal and subsequent return to Steam in 2025, a point of context for observers tracking multi-platform availability.
Psikyo Memories’ February 18, 2027 launch places the collection on store schedules ahead of the next fiscal quarter, opening access for both collectors seeking physical editions and players looking for digital releases on modern hardware such as the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
