Description

Lost In Cult has officially announced a physical release for Promise Mascot Agency on the Nintendo Switch, expanding its reach beyond the digital storefront.

This announcement arrives alongside a flurry of industry news, underscoring the growing demand for tangible collector's editions among Nintendo Switch enthusiasts.

Copies of the physical release are scheduled to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2026, allowing fans and collectors ample time to secure their editions. Promise Mascot Agency, from the acclaimed creators of Paradise Killer, first launched on the Nintendo eShop earlier this year and quickly drew attention for its unique blend of open-world exploration, management mechanics, and narrative depth.

Players take on the role of Michi, a disgraced former yakuza lieutenant exiled to the declining coastal town of Kaso-Machi.

Rather than returning to a life of crime, Michi's assignment pivots in an unexpected direction: revitalizing a failing mascot agency, integrating both whimsical humor and a heartfelt story about community and redemption. The upcoming physical release by Lost In Cult will be available in a standard edition, as well as a highly limited run under the company's "Editions" label.

With only 3,000 copies being produced, this collector's version delivers extensive bonus content.

The package features the game housed in a bespoke collectible mailer box adorned with seasonally-rotated illustrations.

Fans will also find a 40-page booklet containing essays and a developer interview conducted by Miri Teixeira, outer slipcase artwork by José Salot, an exclusive variant case cover sheet, and poster art by the celebrated artist Bloomer.

Rounding out the extras are a color-themed inner slipcase with an individually numbered release code and a fold-out artwork poster with a detailed checklist and artist commentary on the reverse side. A representative from Lost In Cult highlighted the studio's commitment to producing high-quality physical editions, noting that they aim to provide a tangible connection between game creators and the dedicated Nintendo Switch community through unique art and insightful extras.

By offering curated content and design-focused packaging, Lost In Cult continues to bolster its reputation as a pioneer in collectible gaming experiences. Promise Mascot Agency stands out in the Nintendo Switch library for its original approach to world-building and character-driven gameplay.

Players manage a team of sentient mascots—living creatures rather than people in costumes—as they assign jobs, transport them around town, and help them overcome unpredictable challenges with special Hero Cards.

The game's innovative structure and engaging story have earned it a dedicated following since its eShop debut. Both the standard and limited "Editions" collector's versions of Promise Mascot Agency for Nintendo Switch are available for pre-order now through Lost In Cult's official shop.

With its scheduled 2026 release window, this physical edition promises to become a coveted addition for collectors and fans of narrative-driven indie titles.
