Flat2VR Studios has officially announced that Postal 2 Redux, an ambitious overhaul of the 2003 cult-classic first-person shooter, is headed to the Nintendo Switch.

Developed in partnership with Team Beef and original creators Running With Scissors, the project aims to faithfully recreate—and thoroughly enhance—the riotous sandbox of Paradise using modern technology.

This announcement comes alongside news of a Kickstarter campaign, launching this summer, to support ongoing development and community engagement. Originally launched for PC in 2003, Postal 2 quickly gained notoriety for its open-world chaos, dark humor, and unapologetic content.

Over two decades later, publisher Flat2VR Studios is leading the charge to bring the controversial classic to a new generation of gamers.

The Redux version moves away from its legacy Unreal 1.5 engine, fully rebuilding the title in Unity to leverage improved visuals, smoother performance, and support for the Nintendo Switch platform. Interiors across the city are now fully interactive and destructible, while the legendary canine companion, Champ, has received upgrades in both appearance and function.
