Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 June 4, 2026

Astragon Entertainment and Aesir Interactive have confirmed that Police Simulator: Patrol Officers will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 4, 2026.

The simulation title, already available on PC and other consoles, is being adapted for Nintendo’s next-gen handheld-home hybrid with updates and content parity that reflect prior PC and console releases.

The Switch 2 build will be sold digitally on the eShop and is accompanied by multiple editions and pre-order incentives.

In a joint announcement, Astragon Entertainment and Aesir Interactive said the Nintendo Switch 2 version arrives June 4, 2026 and includes numerous updates from earlier releases.

The developers describe Police Simulator: Patrol Officers as an open-world police simulation set in the fictional American city of Brighton, where players progress from issuing parking tickets to handling major incidents.

Gameplay and features

- Open world: Brighton is split into three districts made up of several neighborhoods, each with distinct visual and gameplay elements.

- Career progression: Players start with minor duties such as parking violations and work toward more demanding responsibilities, unlocking new neighborhoods, districts, and duties as they gain experience.

- Modes: The Switch 2 release includes a simulation mode for players seeking authenticity and a casual mode for more relaxed patrols.

- Co-op: Players can invite a friend to patrol together.

- Assistance systems: An intuition system helps rookies identify violations and learn mechanics.

The publisher outlines a broad range of duties: issuing tickets, responding to accidents, stopping drug deals, pursuing graffiti vandals, setting up roadblocks and cones, and apprehending suspects for transport to holding cells.

The development team emphasizes responsiveness on patrol, noting that players must be prepared to react quickly to incidents that occur during their shifts.
