National Trust Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trails: Dates, Locations, and Details

The Pokémon Company and the National Trust have partnered to bring Pokémon Trading Card Game (Pokémon TCG) activities to the UK this summer, running a series of self-guided 'Mega Evolution Trails' across 15 National Trust properties from 23 May to 6 September.

The collaboration expands community-facing events tied to the Pokémon brand, which is managed by The Pokémon Company — a corporate entity co-founded by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures — and has a long history of cross-promotional activities.

Event overview

The Mega Evolution Trails are self-guided walks available at 15 National Trust sites.

Visitors receive a trail sheet on entry and can look for Energy-specific markers along the routes.

The participating properties are:

Attingham Park, Shropshire

Belton Estate, Lincolnshire

Blickling Estate, Norfolk

Dyrham Park, Gloucestershire

Hughenden, Buckinghamshire

Kingston Lacy, Dorset

Lanhydrock, Cornwall

Quarry Bank, Cheshire

Saltram, Devon

Sizergh, Cumbria

Speke Hall, Liverpool

Rowallane Garden, County Down

Tredegar House, Newport

Wimpole Estate, Cambridgeshire

Winkworth Arboretum, Surrey

In addition to the trails, 145 National Trust locations will offer a Pokémon TCG sticker booklet; visitors can collect one of five stickers at each qualifying visit.

Organizers have stated that the collaboration does not include any exclusive or event-only trading cards tied to these activities.

The Pokémon Company also indicated that further events and activity details related to the partnership may be announced later.

Practical information and verification

The event window is confirmed as 23 May through 6 September.

Trail sheets and sticker booklets will be distributed at participating National Trust properties; a full list of participating sites and details is published on the official Pokémon website and the National Trust's events pages.

These activities are presented as family-friendly, outdoor experiences that tie into the Pokémon Trading Card Game brand rather than the video game releases; The Pokémon Company manages the TCG alongside other Pokémon franchise properties.

What this means for fans

For collectors and families planning summer outings, the Mega Evolution Trails offer a way to combine outdoor visits to historic and natural sites with Pokémon TCG-themed activities.
