The Pokémon Company has unveiled a lineup of exciting in-game distributions set to coincide with the 2025 Pokémon North American International Championships and the Pokémon Japan Championships, delivering exclusive content to players across multiple platforms, including Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon HOME.
Scheduled to run from June 13 to June 15, 2025, the North American International Championships will feature special digital rewards for fans tuning in or participating in the event.
For Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch, players will have the opportunity to claim an Incineroar based on the winning strategy employed by Wolfe Glick at the Europe International Championships earlier this year.
Access to this specially trained Incineroar will be provided through a unique code distributed during the streaming of the tournament.
Additionally, fans of Pokémon GO can anticipate Timed Research focusing on Mandibuzz.
This distribution pays homage to Mandibuzz’s role in helping competitive player P4T0M4N secure victory at the Europe International Championships, allowing players to engage with new challenges relevant to the Pokémon’s competitive legacy.
In Pokémon UNITE, participants will be able to redeem a code for a Platinum Mew Boost Emblem as well as a 2025 NAIC (North American International Championships) In-Game Sticker, which further celebrates the esports spirit of the event.
Following shortly after, the Pokémon Japan Championships will take place on June 21 and June 22, 2025, and offer their own exclusive Pokémon HOME distributions.
One of the highlights includes an Amoonguss modeled after the one used by Ray Yamanaka, the 2024 Senior Division World Champion.
This offer recognizes Ray Yamanaka’s triumph and provides players a direct connection to the strategies seen at the highest levels of competition.
Alongside this distribution, eight unique Pokémon HOME medals will be made available during the course of the Japan Championships, rewarding players’ participation and engagement with the online event ecosystem.
The Pokémon Company has a long-standing tradition of celebrating major esports events with in-game distributions, giving players both new and seasoned, the chance to access exclusive content tied to renowned competitors and milestones in the franchise’s competitive history.
These promotions add a unique dimension to the championship experience, blending the excitement of live competition with the ongoing adventures available in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon HOME on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms.
All distributions are time-limited and coincide with the championship dates indicated, so fans are encouraged to watch the official streams or participate during the window for an opportunity to enhance their collections and relive moments from the Pokémon World Championships.
