Nintendo has officially opened pre-orders for Pokémon Legends Z-A, the highly anticipated next entry in the beloved franchise, set to launch on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed by Game Freak, Pokémon Legends Z-A is poised to build on the success of its predecessors by introducing new gameplay experiences and a dynamic setting.

The game is set in Lumiose City, where players will witness and participate in a large-scale urban redevelopment project that aims to enable Pokémon and humans to co-exist more closely. Pre-orders are now available for both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 platforms, with retail and digital versions offered through multiple storefronts.

Fans opting to pre-order Pokémon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (£59.99) or the standard Pokémon Legends Z-A (£49.99) through the Pokémon Center are eligible for an exclusive gift: one of three Pokémon Sitting Cuties Plush representing the game’s starter Pokémon—Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom's My Nintendo Store is preparing to launch physical pre-orders starting Wednesday, 11 June 2025.
