The Pokémon Company has released a limited-time Mystery Gift for Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A on Nintendo Switch, marking a promotional tie-in with the game's All-in-One edition release.
The giveaway delivers a Vivillon sporting the Poké Ball pattern to all eligible players who redeem the item through the game's Mystery Gift system.
What the company announced
In an official post from the Pokémon Co.
JP Twitter account on November 6, 2026, the publisher confirmed the promotion.
Rewritten in journalistic terms: The Pokémon Company said that, beginning November 6, 2026, players can claim a Poké Ball-pattern Vivillon by opening Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A, navigating to the Mystery Gift menu, and selecting “Get Via Internet.” The promotion runs through February 26, 2027 (ending at 10:59 JST on that date).
How to redeem on Nintendo Switch
- Launch Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A on Nintendo Switch.
- Open the main menu and choose “Mystery Gift.”
- Select “Get Via Internet” and follow the prompts to receive the Vivillon.
This distribution method uses the standard Mystery Gift infrastructure that Nintendo Switch Pokémon titles have supported for years, allowing players to receive event Pokémon directly in-game when their console is online.
Context and platform notes
The Vivillon giveaway is presented as part of the All-in-One edition celebration for Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A.
Mystery Gift distributions are commonly used by The Pokémon Company and partner developers to reward players and support promotional events; players typically download distributed Pokémon directly into their game save once redeemed.
The giveaway is open to all players until the stated deadline, so owners of Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A on Nintendo Switch should redeem the item before February 26, 2027 to ensure they receive the Poké Ball-pattern Vivillon.
