Outright Games and Nickelodeon have confirmed release plans for PAW Patrol: Dino World, a family-focused adventure developed by 3DClouds.
The game arrives on Nintendo Switch worldwide via retail and the Nintendo eShop on 31 July 2026, followed by a Nintendo Switch 2 launch on 2 October 2026.
Dino Island, the game’s prehistoric setting, first appeared in PAW Patrol Season 13 and ties into the upcoming PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, which is scheduled for cinemas in August 2026.
According to the publisher’s announcement, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition will deliver a range of technical and visual improvements over the Switch version.
Outright Games said the Switch 2 build includes enhanced textures and graphics, denser foliage and map decoration, longer draw distances and improved visual effects.
The publisher also confirmed the Switch 2 version will support local co-op and a GameShare feature so players can experience Dino Island together on the new hardware.
3DClouds designed PAW Patrol: Dino World with young players and families in mind, presenting an accessible introduction to adventure gameplay.
The title invites players to assume the roles of familiar rescue pups—Chase, Marshall and Skye among others—taking on rescue missions, solving environment-based obstacles and helping dinosaurs reunite with their families.
Gameplay highlights outlined by the publisher include:
- Narrative setup: Mayor Humdinger has caused dinosaurs to run wild and the PAW Patrol must restore order.
- Companion roster: Play alongside Rex and Timmy with pups Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky and Zuma.
- Rescue tasks: Locate lost dinosaurs, return them to their families and care for them at the in-game Paleo Center.
- Puzzle and action elements: Use each pup’s signature abilities to trigger mechanisms, activate environmental elements and overcome obstacles.
- Customization and exploration: Unlock accessories, skins and island decorations while exploring Dino Plains, jungle, shores and crystal caves.
PAW Patrol: Dino World will be available both physically and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on 31 July 2026, with the enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 version following on 2 October 2026.
