Tech specifications and performance
Bandai Namco has confirmed that One Piece: Grand Gourmet will run at 30 frames per second on both Nintendo console generations.
In clear terms from the developer, the title is capped at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and the PC version — there is no platform that runs the game at 60 frames per second.
Resolution targets are fully detailed: on Nintendo Switch 2 the game will render at up to 4K when docked and 1080p in handheld mode.
The original Nintendo Switch version is listed at 1080p while docked and 720p in handheld.
Upgrade path and compatibility
Bandai Namco also made a commercially important detail explicit: there will be no upgrade pack to move owners from the Nintendo Switch version to the Nintendo Switch 2 release.
The company noted that the Nintendo Switch version remains playable on Nintendo Switch 2 via standard backwards compatibility, but consumers should not expect a free or paid upgrade path between console versions.
