The announcement arrives as part of the franchise’s wider 40th anniversary activities celebrating the original The Legend of Zelda, first released in 1986.
As a preview of the concert program, Nintendo of America posted a sample track titled “The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Triforce Medley” on its official YouTube channel.
The medley serves as an audio glimpse of the orchestral arrangements that will be central to the live performances and is available now for fans to listen to ahead of the global tour.
In official communications, Nintendo stated that the concert series will launch in Japan on January 23, 2027, before expanding to additional countries worldwide, including the United States.
The company provided the Triforce Medley as a preview clip on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel to coincide with the announcement.
This is not the first major orchestral celebration of Zelda music.
The Symphony of the Goddesses concert series, which toured over a decade ago, presented orchestral reworkings of music from the franchise alongside synchronized video elements drawn from the games.
That earlier series demonstrated the long-standing demand for live orchestral performances of Zelda compositions.
The Legend of Zelda franchise, developed and published by Nintendo, has spanned multiple hardware generations from the Famicom Disk System and NES to modern platforms including the Nintendo Switch.
Recent flagship entries such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (2023) have reinforced the series’ prominence on Nintendo hardware and contributed to broader celebration activities around the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
For fans tracking concert dates and ticketing, Nintendo’s official channels—including the Nintendo of America YouTube channel and Nintendo’s regional websites—will carry further updates as schedules and venue details are released.
The Triforce Medley remains the confirmed public preview of the concert series’ musical direction.
