Nintendo has outlined its presence at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026, running July 23-26, confirming a slate of playable demos and on-site activities around two of its headline releases.

Attendees will get hands-on time with Splatoon Raiders — which launches on July 23, 2026 — and the first U.S. public demos for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, ahead of that game's October 22, 2026 launch.

At the convention center, Nintendo will run a Splatoon Raiders showcase in Hall A at booth #235.

Nintendo described the booth experience as an opportunity for both newcomers and veteran players to "fend off Salmonid foes, raid for treasure and splash a lot of ink" in the new Splatoon title.

The company said the game, developed by Nintendo EPD for Nintendo Switch 2, invites players to choose from distinct tank types — Power, Speed and Tactical — and team up with the series' recurring act Deep Cut on missions across the Spirhalite Islands.

Nintendo also announced the first U.S. hands-on for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will take place July 23-26 at The Pointe in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, beginning each day at 9:30 a.m.

According to Nintendo, guests will be able to try four of the title's 12 sports during on-site demos.

The company noted demos will operate on a first-come, first-served queue, while live gameplay will be broadcast to screens on The Promenade where staff will host family-friendly activities.

On July 23, Nintendo will stage an on-site challenge between attendees and social creator The Rizzler.

Nintendo said visitors who have played the Sports Resort demo can be randomly selected to compete on stage between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

PT; Nintendo clarified that the appearance is for exhibition play and does not include prize giveaways.

These SDCC activations give attendees early access to two major Nintendo releases and emphasize hands-on, family-friendly demonstrations.

For visitors planning a trip to San Diego, Nintendo's booth location and hotel programming make the company a central attraction for gaming content during the convention week.
