My Mario Series Launches at Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO: New Experiences for Families on Nintendo Switch and Beyond

Nintendo is set to bring a fresh wave of family-friendly entertainment to its U.S.

flagship stores with the debut of the My Mario series, arriving at Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO on February 19, 2024.

After a successful launch in Japan, the My Mario collection, inspired by Mario and his allies from the iconic Mushroom Kingdom, introduces a broad array of curated products, games, and experiences designed for young children and their parents to enjoy together. The My Mario series goes beyond traditional merchandise, offering innovative ways for families to play, imagine, and bond alongside beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi.

Nintendo has partnered with leading companies such as Mattel Fisher-Price and TOMY to create an assortment of imaginative products, each designed as a welcoming introduction to the world of Super Mario. A spokesperson for Nintendo emphasized the collection’s mission: 'The My Mario series is thoughtfully developed to foster creativity, connection, and joy for young children and their families, making Mario’s world accessible to a new generation of fans.' Among the highlights of the My Mario series are two new sets of wooden blocks that bring the vibrant world of Super Mario to life: the Mario Wood Block Set (3 pieces) and a more expansive Mario & Friends Wood Block Set (30 pieces).

These toys allow children to build and explore their favorite Mushroom Kingdom scenes in a tactile, hands-on way. Digital play is also at the forefront with the launch of the free Hello, Mario! app, compatible with both smart devices and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Debuting alongside the collection on February 19, the app encourages intuitive and playful interaction with Mario.

Available on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and as a downloadable title via Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch (with support announced for Nintendo Switch 2), Hello, Mario! ensures that digital and physical play blend seamlessly for families everywhere. For storytelling and creative exploration, the "It’s Me, Mario!" stop-motion animation series is available on the official My Mario website as well as the Play Nintendo YouTube channel.

The series brings to life the whimsical adventures of Mario and friends, providing screen time that both educates and entertains. Younger Mario fans can also look forward to a new collection of apparel for infants and toddlers, ranging from playful onesies and sleepers to comfortable playtime outfits.

A hands-on Hello, Mario! interactive board book, produced in collaboration with Penguin Random House, and a variety of soft toys—including plush and rattles—further expand the ways families can join in the fun. Additionally, the Tomy Toomies My Mario bath toy line introduces a playful twist to bathtime, featuring water squirters and themed toys inspired by the Super Mario universe. While specific product release dates will vary, the My Mario lineup begins rolling out in major U.S.

retail stores this spring and is expected to expand throughout 2024.
