This week’s highlights include the launch of Madden NFL 26 on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the long-awaited Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution by WayForward, and several notable digital-first titles. A standout in this week’s Nintendo Download lineup is Madden NFL 26, now available for Nintendo Switch 2 at $69.99.

Developed by EA Sports, this latest entry continues the renowned football series with updated rosters, enhanced graphics, and new gameplay features tailored to make use of the upgraded hardware on Switch 2.

The inclusion of Madden NFL 26 marks EA's continued commitment to Nintendo’s newest console, strengthening Switch 2's sports offerings at retail and via digital download. Another highly anticipated release is Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution ($24.99), launching digitally on August 19.

Developed by WayForward, this project originally began as a Game Boy Advance title more than a decade ago but makes its official debut on modern hardware this week.

The title builds on the beloved platforming franchise with fresh animation, an all-new story, and classic Metroidvania elements. Among other retail debuts, players can pick up Bendy: Lone Wolf ($19.99, available August 15), a spin-off set in the universe of the popular horror franchise; and Iwakura Aria ($39.99), bringing atmospheric adventure to Switch.

On the digital front, highlights include Drag x Drive ($19.99), an arcade-style racer; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown ($19.99), a new tactical strategy game; and a variety of indie experiences such as Camp Life: Wilderness Survival 2025, Core.Sys, and Bubble Wizard 4 Saga. For fans of retro and arcade classics, Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol.

1 and Vol.

2 become available at $34.99 each, featuring a trove of shoot-'em-up games.

Other noteworthy releases include Ghost Master: Resurrection ($29.99), Demons Are Coming ($9.99, available August 15), and Tokyo Racer X ($9.99, available August 15).
