The latest North American Nintendo Download update brings a heavy-hitter release to Nintendo’s newest hardware and a broad slate of eShop launches for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Leading the pack is ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition from Bandai Namco Entertainment, confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 on Aug. 28 at an MSRP of $79.99, with pre-orders already available on the Nintendo eShop.

Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 also arrives in late August, launching for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Aug. 27 for $49.99.

Bandai Namco’s overview states the Tarnished Edition bundles the base ELDEN RING game with the SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE expansion and adds new weapons, armor and a Torrent appearance customization.

Konami frames the Master Collection Vol. 2 as a compilation that includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, underscoring the series’ long-standing emphasis on stealth and infiltration mechanics.
