Nintendo heads into the 2026 holiday season with a slate of retail and promotional activity designed to connect fans with exclusive products and in-person experiences.
Nintendo of America announced the My Nintendo Holiday Magic Sweepstakes, a nationwide expansion of store-only merchandise via Nintendo.com and the Nintendo Store app, and the return of the Super Mario balloon to the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Sweepstakes and grand-prize details
The My Nintendo Holiday Magic Sweepstakes opens Oct. 15, 2026 and closes Nov. 2, 2026.
Nintendo Account members can enter for a chance to win a two-night trip to Nintendo NEW YORK, with travel dates scheduled between Dec. 3 and Dec. 7, 2026.
The prize package includes a travel certificate covering the base fare of a roundtrip JetBlue flight (government taxes and fees excluded), a two-night hotel stay for the winner and up to three guests, a personal tour of the Nintendo NEW YORK store, and access to the store’s holiday event activities subject to timing and availability.
Nationwide online availability of store merchandise
Hundreds of select merchandise items that were previously exclusive to Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO will be available nationwide for the first time through Nintendo.com and the Nintendo Store app.
The lineup features collectibles, apparel and gifts inspired by flagship franchises including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pikmin and Splatoon—properties synonymous with Nintendo hardware like the Nintendo Switch.
In-store holiday programming and parade appearance
Nintendo’s retail locations in New York and San Francisco will receive seasonal window displays and décor beginning in mid-November, with special holiday events starting in early December.
Exclusive items such as the Super Mario Winter Collection, limited-time gifts with purchase, festive shopping bags and character appearances from Mario and Luigi are scheduled as part of the seasonal program.
