Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Delayed in U.S. Amid New Tariffs; Release Date Unchanged

The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.” The delay comes in response to the Trump Administration’s announcement of significant tariffs: a 46% tariff imposed on imports from Vietnam, where the Switch 2 is manufactured, and a 24% tariff on imports from Japan, the country responsible for producing the physical Nintendo Switch 2 cartridges.
