On June 5, 2024, gamers in both Brazil and Mexico can expect the Nintendo Switch 2 to become officially available, marking a key milestone in the platform’s global rollout.

Mexican consumers can begin pre-ordering all versions of the Nintendo Switch 2 starting April 25, 2024, through official retailers and the Nintendo eShop.
Brazilian fans will face slightly higher price points, partly reflecting local economic conditions and import costs.

Mario Kart World on its own will be sold for R$499.90 ($87 USD), while Donkey Kong Bananza will retail for R$439.90 ($77 USD).

Both digital and physical editions will be made available, ensuring broad accessibility for Brazilian players.
A Nintendo spokesperson summarized the company’s approach, noting that details surrounding regional pricing and availability are being addressed in a phased manner to accommodate local markets and ensure a smooth launch experience.
The company has reaffirmed that it will share additional information as other countries’ release plans are finalized.
With the Nintendo Switch 2’s innovative features and a strong lineup of launch titles such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, anticipation remains high in Latin America and beyond.
