The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Soundtrack Arrives on Vinyl Through Nintendo and Laced Records

Nintendo continues to celebrate the milestone success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by treating fans to a special collection of the game’s unforgettable soundtrack.

In partnership with Laced Records, Nintendo will release collectible vinyl editions of the celebrated soundtrack—offering fans the chance to experience the majestic music of Hyrule beyond the game itself.

Both a deluxe 8-LP box set and a curated double LP will launch on June 19, 2026, with pre-orders available now through My Nintendo Store and Laced Records. Released in 2017 for Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild quickly became a benchmark for open-world adventure, garnering numerous Game of the Year awards and reaching over 30 million units sold worldwide as of 2024.

A cornerstone of the game’s immersive world is its distinct musical identity, crafted by composers Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe.

These editions mark one of the first times a major Nintendo game soundtrack is being offered on vinyl outside Japan. Both standard black and limited-edition colored vinyl versions are available for the upcoming release.

The limited-edition double LP includes blue-and-white marbled heavyweight discs, encased in a wide-spined outer sleeve with themed inner sleeves.

Meanwhile, the showpiece 8-LP Box Set boasts blue and gold splatter effect records and features a rigid, dual slipcase.

Each disc in this expanded set is sequenced around key thematic elements from Breath of the Wild, guiding listeners on a musical journey parallel to Link’s adventure—exploring Hyrule, liberating the Divine Beasts, and unraveling shrine mysteries. According to official statements, the 8-LP Box Set compiles 130 newly remastered tracks spanning the full range of the game's score.

The Double-LP distills the experience to 34 essential pieces, including iconic themes such as “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle.” Collectors can obtain the limited-edition versions via Laced Records, My Nintendo Store, and flagship Nintendo Retail locations in New York and San Francisco, while the standard black vinyl editions will be distributed at select retailers. In addition to the vinyl offerings, the game's soundtrack is accessible digitally through Nintendo Music, an exclusive smart-device app for Nintendo Switch Online members.

The platform enables users to enjoy music from various Nintendo franchises—including The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land—with playlist customization and spoiler prevention features for unfinished titles.
