Ninja Party Brings Parkour Action and Cross-Platform Multiplayer to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Nekki, the acclaimed developer behind dynamic action titles, has officially announced the arrival of its free-to-play parkour action game, Ninja Party, on Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Set for a global digital release on the Nintendo eShop in 2025, Ninja Party aims to energize the party royale genre with cross-platform multiplayer, creative customization, and high-octane ninja competition. Since its initial reveal, Ninja Party has attracted attention for its unique blend of parkour movement and fast-paced PvP action.

Up to 12 players can jump into the arena simultaneously, where skill, agility, and strategy are tested through a series of intense challenges.

Drawing inspiration from classic party titles and modern battle royales, Ninja Party pushes the limits of multiplayer action by enabling players to outmaneuver their rivals and eliminate opponents with an arsenal that ranges from traditional katanas and kunai to unconventional weapons like frying pans.

As the competition unfolds and the number of competitors dwindles, only one ninja emerges victorious. Game director Mikhail Dragovalovskiy emphasized Nekki’s vision for Ninja Party, stating that their goal was to combine their passion for expressive animation, parkour-inspired movement, cinematic action moments, and engaging PvP multiplayer into a single cohesive experience.

Dragovalovskiy also shared his excitement about fostering a competitive and social environment, remarking that the cross-platform multiplayer will allow friends and rivals from PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices to team up or face off in exhilarating fashion. Ninja Party features robust customization options, granting players the ability to personalize their ninja avatars with an ever-expanding selection of skins.

These skins can be unlocked for free by completing gameplay challenges, rewarding both style and skill.

The game’s primary mode pits 12 players against each other in a vibrant, continuously evolving arena.

From running up walls to soaring off cliffs on motorcycles, the action is relentless, combining acrobatics and melee combat to create memorable, adrenaline-fueled moments. For those who prefer cooperative play, Ninja Party offers the ability to form ninja clans and team up with one or two friends in pursuit of collective glory.

The seamless cross-platform functionality ensures that players can build their clans and connect with friends regardless of their preferred device. Ninja Party will be available for download exclusively through the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 starting in 2025.
