Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Receives Physical Release Date for Nintendo Switch

Silver Lining Interactive has officially confirmed the much-anticipated physical release of Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound for the Nintendo Switch.

Fans of the iconic action series can look forward to boxed editions arriving at retail stores across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and select regions in the Middle East on September 12, 2025.

This release follows the digital debut of the title, which is set for July 31 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound draws on the storied legacy of the Ninja Gaiden series, originally developed by Tecmo (now part of Koei Tecmo Games).

Created by team members involved in the acclaimed Blasphemous project, Ragebound masterfully bridges the gap between the celebrated 8-bit classics and their modern 3D counterparts.

Rising to the challenge is Kenji Mozu, a young ninja trained by Ryu himself.

In a desperate bid to overcome the odds, Kenji forms an unlikely alliance with the formidable Black Spider Clan, setting the stage for a story of unity against overwhelming darkness. Aided by the lethal assassin Kumori, players control both Kenji and Kumori as they traverse interconnected storylines.
