FURYU confirmed at Indie Live Expo that CRYMELIGHT, the next entry in its dark "Bishoujo Action" CRY series, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on November 5.
The announcement positions CRYMELIGHT as the third mainline title following CRYSTAR (2019) and CRYMACHINA (2023), continuing the studio’s focus on young heroines navigating grim fantasy worlds.
The developer framed the game's setting as life inside a dreamlike realm called CRYMELIGHT, where players guide a protagonist known only as "Alice".
Alice awakens without memories and must descend to the lowest layer of Purgatory to earn her "Rebirth." Starting from the Tea Party Hall, she faces enemies born of madness, confesses the sins revealed through combat, and progresses through intense emotional challenges on her journey.
CRYMELIGHT’s core systems are presented in clear, gameplay-focused terms.
The title features traversal between two distinct realms: Wonderland, a prison that holds the souls of the dead, and the Tea Party, a sanctuary where young girls can rest and atone.
At the Tea Party, Alice can confess actions committed during battle to receive enhancement items and power-ups.
Combat emphasizes strategy and momentum.
Defeating foes releases bursts of energy that open a shimmering blue-violet area called the "Wonder Dimension" beneath the player.
As this space expands, player abilities and movement receive amplification, and the specific skills acquired alter how those enhancements behave, effectively transforming combat tactics.
A collectible Skill Card system channels a poker-style build mechanic: assembling stronger poker combinations strengthens the hand’s effects, significantly changing attack impact and movement flow.
Players can also toggle between two presentation modes—World-Immersion Mode, which minimizes UI and brings the camera closer for a cinematic experience, and Action Mode, which expands the view, keeps UI elements visible, and prioritizes combat clarity.
To mark CRYMELIGHT’s announcement, FURYU has discounted CRYSTAR and CRYMACHINA on the Nintendo eShop for up to 60% off through May 7.

CRYMELIGHT’s November 5 release across Nintendo Switch 2, Steam and PS5 cements FURYU’s ongoing commitment to dark fantasy action RPGs and gives series fans a clear date to anticipate additional developer updates and post-launch plans.
