Nintendo has announced the introduction of a new package of launch celebration present maps for its tactical RPG mobile title, Fire Emblem Heroes.
These special maps are now accessible within the Special Maps section of the game and reward players with orbs—a critical in-game currency—offering a boost to both new and veteran players alike.
Fire Emblem Heroes, developed by Intelligent Systems and released on iOS and Android devices, has continued garnering a robust worldwide following since its global release last week.
The game was originally revealed at the dedicated Fire Emblem Nintendo Direct broadcast on January 18th, marking Nintendo's expanding mobile strategy using iconic franchises on mobile platforms.
According to Nintendo's official statement, each map included in the launch celebration event yields a total of six orbs upon completion; three orbs can be earned by conquering each of the two available difficulty levels.
In a structured rollout, a fresh map from this special pack will debut every week for the next five consecutive weeks.
By participating in each week’s map and clearing both difficulties, diligent players have the opportunity to accumulate up to 30 orbs in total during the event.
This systematic distribution encourages ongoing engagement while providing substantial rewards for both longtime fans and newcomers engaged in the Fire Emblem Heroes community.
"Players can find the new launch celebration maps featured under the Special Maps tab, with each clear across both difficulty modes granting six orbs," Nintendo highlighted in their recent update.
These orbs play an essential role, allowing players to summon new heroes, upgrade skills, and enhance overall performance in the game.
The series of maps represents Nintendo’s continuing commitment to supporting Fire Emblem Heroes post-launch, fostering a vibrant player base through regular updates and celebratory events.
Fire Emblem Heroes remains available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
The game's success exemplifies Nintendo's strategic expansion into the mobile gaming market, following notable launches for other major franchises on platforms such as the eShop and frequent updates showcased in Nintendo Direct presentations.
As the Fire Emblem Heroes launch celebration event unfolds over the coming weeks, players will want to take full advantage of these limited-time opportunities to strengthen their squad and deepen their experience in Nintendo's mobile strategy epic.
