Release date and overview

The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC is available now for Nintendo Switch, with the launch dated 08/31/26.

Nintendo has paired the DLC release with a set of new My Nintendo rewards and Nintendo Switch Online missions that let players earn Platinum Points and redeem physical and digital items.

My Nintendo rewards tied to Pokémon Pokopia

Nintendo announced that a Pokémon Pokopia–themed notebook is now redeemable through My Nintendo.

The notebook features game artwork and can be claimed for 500 My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Nintendo described the item as a compact way to bring Pokémon Pokopia artwork to fans’ desks and noted the notebook is available as an upcoming My Nintendo reward.

Additional rewards and redemption details

Alongside the Pokopia notebook, Nintendo added a downloadable wallpaper titled “Pokémon Pokopia Part 1: Bubbly Basin.” The company also launched a collectible Star Fox patch set featuring two adhesive-backed patches — one of Fox McCloud and one with the Star Fox logo — redeemable for 400 My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Nintendo indicated the patches include 3M adhesive for easy application.

Earning points and missions

Nintendo reminded players that paid Nintendo Switch Online memberships can generate My Nintendo Platinum Points through specific missions, including play-based objectives in the Nintendo Switch Online classic collections.

Those points are redeemable for both physical rewards and digital items such as user icon elements for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems.

New missions and rewards are added regularly at my.nintendo.com.

Purchase and account requirements

Nintendo’s announcement reiterates established terms: the full version of a game is required to use Expansion Pass DLC, and DLC is sold separately unless otherwise noted.

A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem My Nintendo points, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required for certain online missions.

Memberships typically auto-renew at the then-current price and internet access is required for online features; Nintendo’s purchase terms and membership details apply.
