Little Nightmares 3 Gets Release Date and Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced the release date for Little Nightmares 3, revealing that the highly anticipated sequel will launch on both the current Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Scheduled for a global release on October 10, 2025, Little Nightmares 3 will be available both as a retail package and digitally via the Nintendo eShop. Supermassive Games, well-known for their narrative-driven horror experiences, takes the reins as the developer for this next installment in the critically acclaimed series.

Little Nightmares 3 marks a significant evolution for the franchise, as the game introduces online cooperative play for the first time, allowing players to confront their childhood fears together.

Despite this added multiplayer functionality, the game remains fully playable in single-player mode, ensuring series veterans and new players alike can experience the unsettling world at their own pace. Players will step into the shoes of two brand-new protagonists—Low and Alone—each equipped with signature items central to both gameplay and narrative.

Low wields a bow and arrow, while Alone carries a trusty wrench.

Together, players must navigate through the mysterious Spiral, facing a host of new dangers, including the menacing Monster Baby in the Necropolis.

The development team has emphasized how these unique character abilities will enhance puzzle-solving and deepen the gameplay experience. Supermassive Games confirmed, “Players can choose to team up online or play solo, experiencing a chilling tale of escape set in the ever-creepy Nowhere.
