LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight continues to expand its post-launch content with the Mayhem Collection DLC, delivering new missions, playable characters and a fresh difficulty option.

Games, the LEGO Batman entry has been supported with updates since release; the Mayhem Collection will arrive as a downloadable expansion and update on Sept. 18.
The centerpiece of the Mayhem Collection is a brand-new story mission that puts players in the shoes of The Joker and Harley Quinn.
In the new sequence, both characters use unique abilities and gadgets to stage a breakout from Arkham Asylum, creating chaos across Gotham with a raucous “going-away” party that leaves the city reeling.
The mission expands the game's narrative variety by letting players experience events from the villains' perspective.
Mayhem Mode adds a new arcade-style challenge: time-limited Mayhem Runs across Gotham City in which Joker and Harley must reach Amusement Mile before time expires while Batman and Robin pursue them.
Players earn LEGO studs by smashing landmarks, stores and vehicles, completing challenges and facing off against A.R.G.U.S. agents and members of Amanda Waller’s Task Force X.
The DLC specifically calls out adversaries including Deathstroke, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, King Shark and Polka-Dot Man among the roster of foes.
The Sinister Pack included in the Mayhem Collection bundles themed outfits, a new vehicle and Batcave customization items.
Costumes are inspired by notable DC comics and collectibles, and the pack lists the following skins and items:
- Batman: The Batman Who Laughs outfit (Dark Nights: Metal #2 | 2017)
- Robin: Robin King outfit (Dark Nights: Death Metal – Legends of the Dark Knights #1 | 2020)
- Nightwing: Joker outfit (Nightwing #16 | 2011)

TT Games also confirmed an enhanced difficulty tier named "Absolute," which will be delivered as a free update for all owners of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Sept. 18 alongside the Mayhem Collection.
The studio explained that Absolute sits above the existing Caped Crusader and Dark Knight settings and is intended to demand higher precision, situational awareness and combat skill from players.
Players on all platforms that host the base game—including Nintendo Switch users who typically download updates through the Nintendo eShop—should see the Mayhem Collection and Absolute difficulty roll out on Sept. 18.
