Koei Tecmo Expands WARRIORS: Abyss Roster With Atelier Ryza in Free Nintendo Switch Update Koei Tecmo has officially announced that Ryza, the celebrated protagonist from the Atelier Ryza trilogy, will be joining the character lineup of WARRIORS: Abyss as part of a free update launching on March 28th.

Available for Nintendo Switch, this new content brings one of the Atelier series’ most beloved heroines into the world of Omega Force’s Musou roguelite, offering both newcomers and long-term fans an exciting new way to experience the game. Released in February, WARRIORS: Abyss is a roguelike spin-off built upon the familiar hack-and-slash gameplay of the long-running Warriors franchise, produced by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo.

Since its debut, the game has received steady content updates and downloadable expansions.

Today also marks the arrival of the second paid DLC pack, signaling Koei Tecmo’s ongoing commitment to post-launch support. Reisalin “Ryza” Stout has long been a standout character in the JRPG community, known both for her spirited personality and as the protagonist of the Atelier Ryza trilogy—developed by Gust, a Koei Tecmo subsidiary.
