Kirby and the Forgotten Land Soundtrack Now Available on Nintendo Music App for Switch Online Subscribers

Nintendo has marked the third anniversary of Kirby and the Forgotten Land by expanding its Nintendo Music catalogue with several tracks from the popular Nintendo Switch exclusive.

As of this week, users with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription can now stream a curated selection of the game's acclaimed soundtrack through the Nintendo Music app, currently available for download on Google Play and the iOS App Store in select regions. Kirby and the Forgotten Land, developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo, debuted on the Nintendo Switch in March 2022.

The title quickly became a fan favorite, selling millions of units globally and expanding the reach of the Kirby franchise.

This soundtrack addition further celebrates the title’s enduring popularity within the gaming community. The new musical offerings include highlights such as "Ready to Go!", "Running Through the New World", "A Trip to Alivel Mall", and "Welcome to Wondaria"—tracks known for their vibrant melodies and engaging themes.

Other memorable titles like "Roar of Dedede", "Masked and Wild: D.D.D.", and "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit" also join the app’s expanding library.

While only a selection is currently available, Nintendo has stated that the full Kirby and the Forgotten Land soundtrack will be released on the Nintendo Music app at a later date, giving fans something to anticipate. In a recent announcement, Nintendo shared, "Your data, such as your playlists, will be saved even after you cancel your Nintendo Switch Online membership.

We are planning an update around October 2025 that will allow you to use some Nintendo Music functions, such as the ability to edit, share, or delete your playlists, even after you cancel your Nintendo Switch Online membership." This forthcoming update ensures greater flexibility for users who wish to personalize and manage their gaming soundtracks, regardless of their current subscription status. The Nintendo Music app continues to be an evolving platform for Nintendo Switch players, connecting fans with the soundscapes of their favorite games.
