Denshattack! Release Date Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, Free Demo Now Available on eShop

Fireshine Games and Undercoders have officially confirmed that Denshattack! will launch worldwide on the Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop on June 17, 2026.

Alongside this announcement, a free demo is now available for download, offering players an early chance to experience this adrenaline-fueled action game. Set against the backdrop of a dystopian Japan, Denshattack! introduces players to a future in which the ultra-wealthy have retreated into secure, air-purified domes.

Meanwhile, the rest of the population survives in the harsh wasteland, where society has been rebuilt under the rule of rival gangs.

Players will take on the role of Emi, who must navigate this reimagined Japan by challenging rival gangs, securing upgrades, and climbing the ranks to become the nation’s top train driver. Fireshine Games describes Denshattack! as a unique blend of skateboarding culture and Japanese urban aesthetics, promising a high-octane gameplay experience that merges style with breakneck speed.

Denshattack! invites players to pull off stylish tricks—such as ollies, kickflips, and grinds—across iconic Japanese cities and diverse environments including lush meadows, volcanic landscapes, and oceanic tracks.

The core gameplay revolves around over-the-top train battles, featuring more than 50 uniquely designed stages and a colorful array of adversaries. The game’s soundtrack is another major highlight, curated by acclaimed composer Tee Lopes, renowned for his work on Sonic Mania and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge.

Additional tracks come from industry veterans including Ryo Nagamatsu (noted for the Splatoon and Mario Kart series), Richard Jacques (Jet Set Radio, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy), and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Daytona USA, Sega Rally Championship).

These contributions promise a dynamic and diverse musical backdrop perfectly suited for the game’s rebellious energy. Denshattack! offers a progression system where players build their reputation by facing off against a roster of reimagined Japanese trains, gaining respect among underground gangs and turning rivals into allies.

The boss battles stand out for their creativity, with players encountering opponents such as mechanized magical girls, moving castles, mechanical worms, and the formidable Denshattacker army.

Each new region—from the countryside of Kyushu, through Tokyo and Osaka, to the snowy fields of Hokkaido—brings fresh challenges, hidden secrets, and more opportunities to show off skills. Denshattack! is exclusively available digitally for Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop, with its global release date set for June 17, 2026.

The free demo now live on the eShop allows fans to get hands-on with the game’s unique mechanics, stylish visuals, and standout soundtrack before its full launch.

For fans of action, skateboarding, and Japanese culture, Denshattack! promises to be a must-play addition to the Nintendo Switch 2 library.
