LEVEL-5 Delays Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road to November; Confirms Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 Release

LEVEL-5, the renowned Japanese developer, has officially rescheduled the launch of its anticipated football RPG, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Initially slated for an earlier debut, the game will now be released globally on November 13, 2025, for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms.

The title will be available at retail and digitally through the Nintendo eShop, cementing LEVEL-5’s continued support for Nintendo hardware. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road aims to honor the legacy of the iconic JRPG football series while introducing innovative gameplay.

Players can immerse themselves in the Story Mode by taking on the role of Destin Billows (Unmei Sasanami), a boy disenchanted with soccer, meeting Harper Evans (Haru Endo), a prodigiously skilled player called a 'football monster.' Their fateful encounter at South Cirrus Junior High ignites a classic underdog narrative, where themes of perseverance, friendship, and redemption are at the forefront.

According to LEVEL-5, the plot centers on overcoming adversity and revitalizing a struggling soccer club with the help of new allies. For long-time fans, Chronicle Mode stands out as a major feature.

This mode offers the opportunity to relive legendary Inazuma Eleven moments by assembling a dream team from a staggering roster of over 5,200 characters drawn from across the entire series history.

Using the Inazuma V Caravan, players can travel through time and challenge teams from the franchise's storied past.

Victories unlock new characters through the Bond Star system, expanding both strategic options and nostalgic value. The gameplay experience has been further enhanced with "Manual Mode" for direct control and "Commander Mode," which allows players to direct tactics and make strategic decisions in real time.
