Human: Fall Flat Surpasses 5 Million Copies Sold Worldwide, Adds New Skins to Celebrate

Curve Digital and No Brakes Games have reached a major milestone as their physics-based puzzle platformer, Human: Fall Flat, surpasses 5 million copies sold across all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.

This achievement cements the game's popularity within the global gaming community, highlighting its strong performance on digital storefronts and ongoing appeal among players. Originally launched in 2016, Human: Fall Flat has expanded to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, becoming a favorite for its humorous, physics-driven gameplay and creative multiplayer experiences.

Its enduring popularity is reflected in strong sales figures, with the title emerging as the number one best-selling digital-only game on Japan's Nintendo eShop in 2018.

Additionally, Steam recognized Human: Fall Flat in its 'Best of 2018' list, awarding it a bronze medal for top sales and acknowledging over 25,000 simultaneous players during the year. To commemorate the 5 million copies sold milestone, Curve Digital has released four new character skins.

Players on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch, can now access outfits inspired by the Three Little Pigs, a Cowboy, a Rodeo Clown, and a Hiker.

These additions are part of the developers’ commitment to delivering fresh content and enhancing the player experience. Curve Digital and No Brakes Games have built a reputation for robust post-launch support.

Over the last two years, Human: Fall Flat has seen regular free updates, including the introduction of 8-player multiplayer across all platforms and new stages such as the atmospheric Dark level, which debuted on Steam and will soon be available on consoles.

The developers have stated their plans to continue updating the game with new content throughout the coming year. Reflecting on the milestone, Human: Fall Flat creator Tomas Sakalauskas remarked that he began the project as a solo developer with modest expectations.

"When I first created Human: Fall Flat, I never anticipated reaching one million sales—let alone five million," Sakalauskas shared.

"I'm truly grateful to everyone who has supported the game." Cédrine Décoret, Product Manager at Curve Digital, echoed these sentiments, thanking the game's community for its enthusiasm and promising continued surprises and updates for Human: Fall Flat moving forward. Human: Fall Flat remains available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with ongoing sales events such as the Steam Lunar New Year Sale offering the game at a 50% discount through February 11 at 10 a.m.

Its ongoing support, community-driven content updates, and impressive sales performance across platforms reinforce Human: Fall Flat’s status as one of the top indie games of its generation.
