Holo Indie and Roboqlo have announced HoloVillage: Our Cozy Days for Nintendo Switch 2, with a planned launch window set for this fall.
The upcoming title is a cozy life-sim built around farming, fishing, mining, crafting, decorating and social interactions with chibi versions of hololive Production talents.
Developers describe the game as a slow, carefree rural-life experience that pairs traditional life-sim loops with dungeon-based action outside the village.
What HoloVillage offers
- Core gameplay: Players can tend fields, fish, mine resources and craft items to furnish homes or stock a shop.
The developers say the game emphasizes relaxed, player-driven pacing alongside optional business mechanics such as running an in-game shop.
- Combat and exploration: Outside the village, the game features enemy encounters, multi-stage dungeons and boss fights.
Roboqlo and Holo Indie outlined systems for weapon variety, equipment customization via smithing and progression through job ability trees to support action-oriented play.
- Social and VTuber integration: Familiar hololive talents appear as village residents who can assist with farm work, wear custom outfits and generate in-game rewards as relationships deepen.
Developers indicate building Affection with characters unlocks profile cards, furniture and other gifts specific to each talent.
Housing, cosmetics and sharing
Developers confirm a substantial suite of customization options at launch: more than 1,800 furniture items and over 1,300 costumes and character parts are planned, enabling extensive interior design and personalization.
Furniture can be layered and wall-mounted, and players will be able to upload and share room designs on the game’s servers, as well as visit other players’ rooms.
Post-launch support and recent updates
The teams note a Summer 2026 update introduced new melee mechanics, including Step Dodge and Guard actions for close-range weapons, plus enhanced bonus effects intended to deepen combat options.
