The publisher released a trailer and a press statement outlining gameplay systems, avatar customization, and a set of physical editions aimed at collectors.
The trailer emphasizes player customization and open social spaces.
Bandai Namco’s materials describe the title as a party-focused experience that lets players create and personalize avatars, then explore Party Land alongside characters from the Hello Kitty universe, including Hello Kitty herself, Chococat and Hangyodon.
In Party Land players can participate in a variety of mini-games, compose music, engage in light farming and fishing, and visit a Shopping Mall where new items can be purchased for use in the game.
The announcement also details three physical editions that will be available at launch.
Prices and contents are published by Bandai Namco as follows:
- Standard Edition — $49.99: Includes the base game.
Pre-orders receive bonus avatar T-shirts.
- Day 1 Edition (Physical Only) — $49.99: Includes the base game, a coloring book, a sticker pack, and the same pre-order bonus avatar T-shirts.
- Premium Edition (Physical Only) — $69.99: Includes the base game, coloring book, sticker pack, hologram cards, a plush keychain, and the pre-order bonus avatar T-shirts.
All three editions list the bonus avatar T-shirts as a pre-order incentive in Bandai Namco’s press materials.
The Day 1 and Premium Editions are noted as physical-only releases, which will be of particular interest to collectors who prefer boxed extras over digital-only eShop offerings.
Hello Kitty Party Land adds to the growing catalogue of family-oriented titles on Nintendo platforms and will be playable on both the existing Nintendo Switch and the then-new Nintendo Switch 2 hardware at launch.
The October 29, 2026 release places the game in the holiday window, a common timing strategy for family and licensed titles.
