Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the globally acclaimed cozy life simulation game developed by Sunblink and based on beloved Sanrio characters, is officially set to make its Nintendo Switch debut in 2025.

Announced during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, the title will arrive as a timed console exclusive on the Nintendo Switch, building on its successful release and strong critical reception on Apple Arcade. Initially launched for Apple Arcade, Hello Kitty Island Adventure quickly garnered praise for its charming design, deep customization options, and engaging multiplayer gameplay, solidifying it as a standout in the cozy genre.

With more than 100 hours of adventure and exploration, fans new and old will soon be able to enjoy the whimsical world of Hello Kitty and friends directly from their Nintendo Switch hardware. In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players join My Melody as she opens a gift shop at Big Adventures Park, inviting Hello Kitty and her friends—including the player themselves—on a tropical island getaway.

However, upon their arrival, the group is separated and discovers that the once lively theme park has fallen into disrepair.

Together with Hello Kitty, players are tasked with restoring the island and the park to their former glory. Key features of the game include the opportunity to explore a massive world across various biomes such as Kuromi’s haunted mansion in the Spooky Swamp, the fiery depths of Mount Hothead, Gemstone Mountain’s glittering caves, and the underwater wonders of Rainbow Reef.
