Natsume has officially postponed the launch of the highly anticipated Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village bundle for Nintendo Switch.
Originally slated for an earlier date, the double-feature collection will now arrive in both physical retail and digital format on the Nintendo eShop worldwide on July 31, 2025.
This announcement affects fans eagerly awaiting the first time these beloved 3DS farming sims are coming to a modern home console.
In a direct message to its community, Natsume acknowledged the delay and expressed gratitude for fans’ ongoing enthusiasm and patience.
The publisher emphasized its excitement to introduce these two distinct chapters of the Harvest Moon series to the Nintendo Switch, highlighting that "every effort is being made to ensure the quality experience players expect."
Both Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village have been fully ported from the original Nintendo 3DS versions.
Each title will arrive complete with all previously released downloadable content (DLC), making this bundle the definitive way to experience both games.
Players will enjoy expanded outfit selections, new building sets, additional crops, fresh cosmetic items, and more characters—content that was individually made available as post-launch downloads on the original 3DS versions.
Originally released in 2014, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley offers players a unique 3D sandbox environment.
The story sets you off as you become snowbound in mysterious mountains and join forces with a Harvest Sprite to restore all four lost seasons to the valley.
Game features include the ability to play as either gender, develop relationships with villagers, get married, raise a family, and fully customize your surroundings.
Animal husbandry and crop cultivation are at the heart of gameplay, all while you enlist the help of magical sprites and the Harvest Goddess to shape a thriving rural community.
Harvest Moon: Skytree Village followed in 2016, deepening the simulation with an all-new region suffering from drought and decay.
Gamers are tasked with reviving seven legendary Skytrees and returning vitality to the oasis under the watch of the ailing Harvest Goddess.
Skytree Village expands on customization, introducing new terraforming mechanics, a wider variety of crops and flowers, and unique fishing features.
The game presents a rich cast of townspeople, bachelor and bachelorette romance options, and family-building opportunities—all central to the franchise’s charm.
The Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village bundle for Nintendo Switch is now scheduled for release on July 31, 2025, and will be available both physically at retail and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.
Developed and published by Natsume, this remastered collection stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of the Harvest Moon brand, offering Nintendo fans a chance to revisit two acclaimed entries from the series’ rich history.
