Natsume has officially announced that two beloved entries in the Harvest Moon franchise—Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village—are coming to Nintendo Switch in a special dual release dubbed the Cozy Bundle.
This long-anticipated collection brings the classic farming and life simulation experiences to a new generation of gamers, offering both titles on one cartridge alongside all downloadable content (DLC), updated visuals, and optimized controls for the Switch platform.
Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS—The Lost Valley in 2014 and Skytree Village in 2016—both games captured the hearts of fans with their unique takes on farming and world-building mechanics.
In The Lost Valley, players awaken in a snowbound valley where winter has mysteriously claimed the land, setting out on a quest to restore the four seasons with the help of villagers, Harvest Sprites, and mystical beings like the Harvest Goddess.
Key features include crop cultivation, animal husbandry, land customization in a fully 3D environment, and the ability to build relationships and start a family.
The bundled DLC enriches the experience with extra outfits, building sets, new crops, and characters.
Skytree Village offers a fresh narrative, inviting players to revive the once-fertile Oasis of the Harvest Goddess after her powers have waned and the land has withered.
The game places emphasis on terraforming, character interaction, new crop varieties, and an expanded fishing system, allowing for deeper gameplay.
As with The Lost Valley, players can choose their character’s gender, court various bachelors or bachelorettes, and immerse themselves in a vibrant town.
DLC for Skytree Village adds even more cosmetic options and additional characters to the mix.
Natsume’s president and CEO, Hiro Maekawa, commented on the announcement, stating that the company is enthusiastic about introducing these cherished 3DS titles to the Nintendo Switch, allowing longtime fans to revisit favorite locations and introducing new players to classic Harvest Moon adventures now enhanced for modern hardware.
After initially targeting a summer 2025 release, Natsume has refined the launch date for the Cozy Bundle to July 3, 2025.
Pre-orders are open now, with an exclusive acrylic standee (valued at $12.99) offered as a limited-time gift while supplies last.
Early screenshots showcase an updated user interface, refined controls, and higher-resolution textures, underscoring Natsume’s effort to provide a polished experience for Switch owners.
The Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley & Skytree Village Cozy Bundle is set to arrive on the Nintendo eShop and at retail, ensuring fans can once again enjoy these classic stories—whether they’re returning to a favorite valley or discovering it for the first time.
With the inclusion of all previously released DLC and significant visual upgrades, the Cozy Bundle stands as a celebration of Harvest Moon’s enduring legacy on Nintendo platforms.
