Natsume Postpones Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley & Skytree Village Double Pack Release on Nintendo Switch
Farming and life simulation enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Harvest Moon double pack for Nintendo Switch will need to exercise a bit more patience.
Natsume, the veteran game developer and publisher behind the popular Harvest Moon franchise, has officially moved the release date for the highly anticipated Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley & Skytree Village Double Pack.
Originally slated for a July 3, 2025 launch, the new release date is now set for July 31, 2025.
This delay affects both digital and physical editions planned for release via the Nintendo eShop and retail outlets.
While Natsume has not disclosed the specific reasons for the postponement, the company addressed the update directly to the community through its official social media channels.
In a statement, the publisher expressed its regret over the delay, saying, “We are very excited to bring these 3DS titles to the Switch, and we sincerely regret making fans wait longer.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to deliver the best possible experience.”
This two-in-one bundle features fully optimized versions of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, both originally released on the Nintendo 3DS.
On the Nintendo Switch, players can look forward to enhanced performance and improvements tailored for the platform, including upgraded visuals and controls.
Notably, each title in the double pack will come complete with all downloadable content (DLC) previously available on the 3DS, making it the most comprehensive package to date for these beloved games.
Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley was first introduced to the Nintendo 3DS in 2014, offering a unique take on the series' farming and life simulation mechanics with customizable terrain and an immersive storyline.
Its successor, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, launched in 2016, expanding on these features with more dynamic farming tools and character interactions.
Both games have since garnered a loyal following for their relaxed gameplay and family-friendly appeal.
Natsume has a long-standing history of bringing farming simulation games to Nintendo platforms, consistently supporting the eShop and showcasing new titles during Nintendo Direct presentations.
With the Switch’s versatile handheld and docked play options, fans can now revisit or discover these distinctive Harvest Moon experiences in a new format.
As the rescheduled July 31, 2025 launch date approaches, pre-orders for the Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley & Skytree Village Double Pack remain open via multiple retailers and the Nintendo eShop.
Fans and newcomers alike can prepare for a fresh season of farming adventures backed by Natsume’s continued commitment to quality and innovation in the beloved Harvest Moon series.
