Cygames has released a fresh batch of details for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, the expanded version of Relink arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026.

The update introduces new playable characters, expanded summon functionality, and a new single-player gauntlet called the Conflux.

These additions expand the game's roster and systems while targeting post‑story, higher-difficulty content.

New playable characters

Cygames confirmed two new playable characters for Endless Ragnarok: Fraux and Fediel.

Fraux is described as a Pactbearer to The Devil, a primal intent on remaking the world; despite that role, Fraux is characterized as an otherwise ordinary skydweller notable for compassion and warmth (voice actors: Azumi Asakura and Kelly Baskin).

Fediel joins the roster as one of the Six Dragons, a transcendental entity that governs darkness and exerts influence over natural law (voice actors: Asami Tano and Savy Des‑Etages).

With these additions the Endless Ragnarok expansion brings the count of new playable characters to six and raises the total number of playable characters—including returning cast from Relink—to twenty‑nine.

Summons and combat enhancements

Endless Ragnarok expands summon mechanics so players can equip summons for passive bonuses or call them into battle.

Some summons provide party buffs, while others behave more like controllable combatants with extensive movesets.

The preview highlights Lucilius, an Astral whose intellect and ferocious primal form were fused together (voices: Takahiro Sakurai and Sean Chiplock), and Rolan, a roving gentlemanly ally with robust combat presence (voices: Hiroshi Kamiya and Sean Chiplock).

Cygames also detailed a new two‑step Primal Burst follow‑up: when the party enters Link Time, Lyria can be readied to summon a primal beast; after four consecutive full bursts from party members using Skybound Arts, Lyria performs a primal beast follow‑up for extra damage.

Conflux: a new single‑player gauntlet

The Conflux is a roguelike‑style single‑player mode that becomes available starting in chapter 6 of Endless Ragnarok and expands after key story events.

Players enter via gateways in Seedhollow and Tredame Sanctum and progress through randomly shuffled areas, selecting gating power‑ups that persist for the run.

Runs conclude with a boss encounter that rewards materials for weapon and sigil upgrades.

Conflux runs award Conflux and Resonance points, used to buy run‑specific power‑ups; the mode includes noncombat nodes, treasure rooms, and rare monsters.

Access and difficulty

Cygames notes that summons are restricted to Chaos‑rated quests and higher, content designed for post‑main‑story progression.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026, and a new trailer showcasing summons and the Conflux is available alongside system footage demonstrating the game on the platform.
