Mindscape and developer Dreamhunt Studio have announced that Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature will launch digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2026.

The indie adventure pairs a stone Golem and a fox in a contemplative journey through a fragmented world as they work to restore a lost civilisation and rejuvenate nature.

The game frames exploration and emotional storytelling around environmental puzzles, collectible-driven progression, and an orchestral score that underlines themes of friendship, loss and renewal.

Dreamhunt Studio positions the experience as a peaceful, reflective title where player actions visibly affect the world—the Golem’s back blooms with flowers as you progress, a built-in visual marker of restoration.

Dreamhunt Studio co-founder Dominik Gygax described development as an emotional and intensive process, saying the team invested deep personal commitment into the project and hoped players would respond to that care.

Mindscape lead producer Matthijs Kramer emphasized the studio’s attention to detail and suggested the narrative aims to resonate with players across regions.
