Armor Games Studios and developer Seed by Seed have officially announced the release date for their tabletop-inspired cooperative fantasy RPG, Baladins, on Nintendo Switch.
The vibrant co-op adventure will be available digitally worldwide via the Nintendo eShop starting February 20, 2026, bringing its unique narrative-driven gameplay to Nintendo’s popular portable home console. Set in the imaginative world of Gatherac, Baladins tasks players with defending the peaceful realm from a formidable dragon bent on consuming time itself.
This narrative-rich RPG draws inspiration from traditional tabletop games, offering both solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, either online or in local co-op mode.
Players can form a party of legendary heroes, each boasting their own unique abilities and playstyles.
Classes include the Cook, renowned for concocting powerful dishes; the Luxomancer, a master strategist able to devise creative solutions; the Dancer, whose energetic moves can charm and disarm foes; and the Pyro, who brings firepower to any confrontation.
For the Switch release, the post-launch PC content is included from day one, adding the Bard—an all-new playable character—and the region of Roazay, a land previously scarred by conflict but now brimming with new stories, items, and quests. According to the publisher, Baladins offers an evolving adventure where player choices directly shape the journey and determine the fate of Gatherac.
With numerous endings to uncover, every campaign presents fresh possibilities.
The game has been designed with flexibility in mind, supporting short play sessions and allowing progress to be made at any pace throughout the full campaign. Key features highlighted by Armor Games Studios include: - Choice-driven storytelling for 1-4 players, allowing each group to influence the world of Gatherac. - Five distinctive character classes, each with unique strengths and developmental paths. - Flexible session lengths ideal for playing solo or with friends. - Classic fantasy encounters, including a dramatic showdown with a Dragon. Baladins’ addition to the Nintendo Switch library continues the platform’s tradition of supporting innovative indie titles with rich multiplayer experiences.
The inclusion of the Bard character and the exploratory Roazay region gives Switch players access to all major post-launch enhancements first introduced on PC. Baladins will be available as a digital download globally via the Nintendo eShop on February 20, 2026.
