Pokémon Center SINGAPORE reopens July 1, 2026, following a comprehensive redesign at its Jewel Changi Airport location.

The refreshed store — previewed in photos shared by NintendoSoup two days ahead of the official reopening — brings new statues, local-themed displays, and a curated Special Edition merchandise lineup timed to the grand reopening.

The Singapore location, which originally opened in April 2017 at Jewel Changi Airport, is the first Pokémon Center outside Japan to receive a major makeover.

The redesign aligns the store with the contemporary look of other recently updated locations, including Pokémon Center HIROSHIMA (revamped in 2025), Pokémon Center TAIPEI (2023), and Pokémon Center OKINAWA (2022).

Stepping into the renovated space, visitors are greeted by statues of Solgaleo alongside Pikachu in an animated installation that features Singapore's skyline.

Solgaleo and Pikachu now serve as the store's mascots, replacing the long-running motif that featured Lapras, Celebi, and Pikachu over the past seven years.

Inside, shelves draw visual inspiration from traditional Singapore shophouses and are stocked with an expanded variety of Pokémon Center merchandise.

The revamp includes a number of new character installations — on display are statues of Flareon, Munchlax, Wattrel, Jolteon, and Vaporeon — and a new food-court–inspired area that references local favorites such as ice kacang and noodles.

The store layout has been altered to improve visitor flow: the ocean-themed event space has been moved from the left side of the store to the back, checkout counters are now positioned on the far left near the exit, and the interactive Pokédex has been relocated deeper into the store adjacent to the Jolteon statue.

To mark the reopening, Pokémon Center SINGAPORE will release a first wave of Special Edition merchandise on July 1, 2026, including a Pikachu plush holding a durian and a Pikachu-riding-Solgaleo plush.

A purchase limit of one per customer applies to these items.

A second wave of Special Edition products is scheduled to launch on August 7, 2026.

For collectors and fans in the region, the renovated Pokémon Center SINGAPORE provides a refreshed, experiential retail destination that complements ongoing interest in Pokémon titles and hardware — from Nintendo Switch releases to announcements fans often follow through Nintendo Direct and the eShop.

The store’s combination of cultural touches and exclusive merchandise makes it a notable stop for local shoppers and international visitors alike.
