Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport has launched an exciting collaboration with Nintendo, celebrating the return of the Nintendo POP-UP STORE in Singapore through a multi-phase Mario Kart campaign.
This extensive activation runs from April to July 2024, transforming the renowned retail destination into a dynamic Mario Kart-themed experience designed for fans, families, and travelers alike.
The centerpiece of the campaign is the Mario Kart Jewel Circuit Challenge, which runs from April 25 to July 24, 2024.
Visitors are invited to race through Jewel Changi Airport, exploring a series of eye-catching Mario Kart installations inspired by the iconic Nintendo franchise.
The event features a giant Rainbow Road display, inviting photo opportunities, and a stamp rally.
Participants who collect six uniquely designed tokens—each associated with classic Mario Kart characters such as Peach (L5, near Canopy Bridge Entrance), Mario (L3, near T3 Linkbridge), Luigi (L4, near the Nintendo POP-UP STORE), Yoshi (L1, East Garden), Bowser (L3, near T2 Linkbridge), and Donkey Kong (L4, near Forest Valley East Trail)—will receive an exclusive Mario Kart sticker pack available in a blind box format.
Expanding the festivities, the campaign includes a Sure-win Gachapon event, held from April 25 to July 6, 2024.
With a minimum spend of S$80 at participating Jewel outlets, or by purchasing a token for S$6 via the Changi App, visitors can try their luck at Level 1’s concierge with the Gachapon prize machine.
Mastercard users receive a bonus token with qualifying purchases.
Prizes range from retail and dining vouchers at prominent Jewel retailers—including international brands like Zara, Coach, and Polo Ralph Lauren—to admission tickets for Jewel’s Canopy Park.
The grand prize is an exclusive Super Mario Mocchi Mocchi Game Style Dash Mushroom (LL Size), a collectible valued at S$229.95.
Additionally, the Nintendo Photo Challenge launches in May (exact dates to be confirmed).
Participants can snap and share images of the Mario Kart displays within Forest Valley on social media, tagging Jewel’s official account, and redeem a free Gachapon token in return.
