Nintendo has officially announced a new in-game event for its hit tactical RPG, Fire Emblem Heroes, titled the War of the Clerics Voting Gauntlet.
Known for its ongoing support and frequent content updates, Fire Emblem Heroes continues to engage its expansive player base on both Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms.
Launched in 2017 and developed by Intelligent Systems, Fire Emblem Heroes has become one of Nintendo’s most successful mobile offerings, celebrated for its dynamic events and character-driven storytelling.
The War of the Clerics Voting Gauntlet invites players to back their favorite healing heroes in a tournament-style event.
This limited-time gauntlet is set to commence on June 27, 2017, at 12 AM (local time), offering both seasoned players and newcomers the opportunity to participate in a unique competition centered around some of the franchise’s most beloved healers.
To mark the occasion, Nintendo has rolled out two special Summoning Focus banners ahead of the event.
These banners increase the chances of acquiring key clerics, allowing fans to strengthen their teams ahead of the gauntlet.
Eight healers are featured in this special event, each renowned for their crucial supporting roles within the series.
The clerics are split into two groups:
Cleric Group 1 includes Elise, Sakura, Maria, and Lachesis.
Cleric Group 2 includes Clarine, Priscilla, Mist, and Lissa.
All participating heroes are equipped with healing skills, making this event a showcase of support units and their strategic value in battle.
The Voting Gauntlet format emphasizes teamwork, community participation, and tactical planning as players rally behind their chosen cleric and compete against other supporters for rewards.
This announcement underscores Nintendo’s ongoing dedication to maintaining a fresh and engaging experience for Fire Emblem Heroes fans.
Since its initial release, Fire Emblem Heroes has celebrated numerous milestones, including surpassing 10 million downloads in its first year and continuing to deliver regular content updates through the eShop and periodic Nintendo Direct presentations.
By shining the spotlight on healers, the War of the Clerics event highlights both the diversity of the Fire Emblem Heroes roster and the depth of its gameplay mechanics.
Players are encouraged to join the event, summon their favorite clerics, and participate in the Voting Gauntlet for exclusive achievements and in-game rewards.
