GIANTS Software has officially announced Farming Simulator: Signature Edition for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, marking a significant milestone for both the renowned simulation series and Nintendo’s next-generation console.
Touted as the most comprehensive entry in the franchise to date, this edition will be exclusively available for digital purchase on the Nintendo eShop in Winter 2025, with ongoing post-launch content updates planned to further enrich the player experience.
Farming Simulator: Signature Edition is set to deliver a feature-packed, relaxing, and family-friendly simulation adventure.
Building upon the series' well-established mechanics, the Signature Edition enables players to manage everything from crop cultivation and forestry to livestock care in an expansive Nintendo universe.
Whether newcomers or seasoned virtual farmers, players will find a wealth of activities—ranging from handling production chains to embarking on ambitious construction projects—designed to help them grow and shape their very own agricultural enterprise.
Highlighting the scope and ambition of the new edition, GIANTS Software Chief Sales Officer Boris Stefan stated that the Signature Edition represents the most detailed and all-encompassing way to experience farming simulation on any Nintendo platform to date.
Stefan expressed the publisher’s excitement that Farming Simulator will be playable on all major gaming systems, including the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2.
Players will be able to choose from three meticulously crafted environments inspired by North America, Europe, and East Asia, each offering unique challenges and opportunities.
The gameplay features an impressive roster of 25 field crops, including wheat, sunflowers, rice, and spinach, as well as numerous greenhouse options.
Livestock management will also be more varied than ever, introducing animals such as sheep, goats, and water buffalo, alongside many others.
Machinery and agricultural technology play a central role in the gameplay experience.
Assembling a fleet from over 400 accurately modeled machines, players can operate equipment from more than 150 internationally recognized brands, including Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra.
Moreover, GIANTS Software has teased the reveal of another major manufacturer, further expanding the game’s authenticity and options for machine enthusiasts.
The ongoing appeal of the Farming Simulator franchise, coupled with the advanced capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2 and eShop, positions the Signature Edition as a must-play title for both long-time series veterans and newcomers seeking a relaxing, educational, and richly detailed gaming experience.
With its release confirmed for Winter 2025, fans can look forward to an agricultural adventure that leverages the full potential of Nintendo’s next-generation platform.
