Each session begins with characters at level 1, devoid of gear, requiring them to gather resources, learn new "Lives"—the game’s unique job and skill system—and defeat shifting enemies and bosses. "Players can expect a new adventure every time they enter Snoozaland, with procedurally generated maps and enemy types," Level-5 stated in their latest announcement.
Clearing missions unlocks further progression, culminating in high-stakes boss battles, including the area’s "Nightmare Mastermind." Victorious players will earn rare crafting materials and items, which can be traded for mounts, equipment, and decorative objects exclusive to this DLC.
Notably, any items acquired within Snoozaland can also be transferred for use in the main game. The update doesn't stop at new areas or gameplay mechanics.
