Hardware: Switch 2 maintains top position
According to Famitsu’s report, the Switch 2 sold 45,825 units in Japan for the reporting week, holding the top hardware spot.
Other Nintendo hardware on the chart included the Switch Lite at 11,263 units and the Switch OLED at 10,796 units.
Sony consoles performed as follows: PS5 Digital Edition moved 6,361 units, the PS5 Pro sold 4,330 units, and the standard PS5 registered 2,282 units.
Remaining Microsoft numbers were comparatively small, with the Xbox Series X Digital Edition at 127 units, Xbox Series S at 82 units, and Xbox Series X at 37 units.
Week-over-week comparisons provided by Famitsu show minor shifts: the Switch 2 rose from 44,280 units the previous week to 45,825, while the Switch Lite declined from 16,511 to 11,263 and the Switch OLED edged up slightly from 10,472 to 10,796.
