Recent data published by Famitsu reveals that the Nintendo Switch 2 continues to drive hardware sales growth in Japan, solidifying Nintendo’s leading position in the domestic console market.

Other notable releases this week include "Once Upon a Katamari" for Switch with 17,289 units in its debut, "Persona 3 Reload" for Switch 2 at 6,778 units, and "Ninja Gaiden 4" making its mark on PS5 with 11,973 opening week sales.

Multiplatform titles such as "Ghost of Yotei" (PS5) and "Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2" compilation (Switch) also performed well, alongside new PS5 entries "Battlefield 6" and "Once Upon a Katamari."
