Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Announced for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 with Massive Fighter Roster

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be launching on both Nintendo Switch and the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed by the acclaimed team at Spike Chunsoft, this highly anticipated fighting game aims to deliver an authentic Dragon Ball experience, bringing legendary characters to life with intense battles and the signature explosive energy fans associate with the iconic anime series. Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is set to make history with the largest playable roster ever featured in a Dragon Ball video game.

According to Bandai Namco, the base game will include over 180 fighters spanning the breadth of Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and select Dragon Ball film adaptations.

Each character features distinct abilities, transformations, and techniques, including their iconic Ki skills and devastating special moves, ensuring a high level of strategic variety and replay value for dedicated fans and competitive players alike. Spike Chunsoft has worked to faithfully capture the look and feel of the Dragon Ball universe, incorporating dynamic visuals and cinematic combat sequences that mirror the most memorable moments from the series.
