Nintendo is set to delight fans this August with a new online event, the Drag x Drive Online Global Jam, exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

This unique, time-limited experience brings 3v3 online battles to the hit title Drag x Drive, showcasing Nintendo’s continued innovation in community-focused events and broadening access to competitive multiplayer experiences on the Nintendo Switch platform. Drag x Drive Online Global Jam will unfold across three days, offering dedicated play windows where gamers worldwide can participate in high-energy matches.

The event schedule (Japan time) is as follows: - August 9, 2025 (Saturday), 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM - August 10, 2025 (Sunday), 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM - August 11, 2025 (Monday), 1:00 AM – 5:00 AM Players looking to join the action can download the Drag x Drive Online Global Jam free of charge directly from the Nintendo eShop.

This special version of the game lets participants experience the competitive spirit of Drag x Drive’s multiplayer battles during the specified event periods, even if they do not own the full game. To ensure broader participation, Nintendo has introduced a special seven-day Nintendo Switch Online coupon, available from August 7 to August 21, 2025.

Players can redeem this coupon for just 0 platinum points, and it remains valid until August 22, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Japan time).
